Day 8

We had a family outing today to pick up lunch and an order at Target. This was a good test to see how the little one would do in the car. Fortunately, she did great. She mostly slept, all snug in her car seat. What we didn’t account for was the sea of drivers on the roads headed to do last minute Christmas shopping. ‘Tis the season!

Maybe our next big car ride can be to my favorite place, the bookstore. I’m sure we don’t need anything, but it’s always fun to browse. I want to instill in her early the fun and magnificence of the bookstore! I think I’ll wait til after the Christmas craze though.
